It’s that time again. Summer is over and now it is time to resume seminary studies. My Trinity School for Ministry online classes begin on September 8, and include Systematic Theology and New Testament studies. Just as before, the classes will require an enormous amount of reading and writing. Online discussion board entries will provide a venue for discussion of class material with my classmates.
This summer was chocked full of “hands on” ministry training, including receiving training as a Lay Eucharistic Minister, as well as teaching the children Sunday School (3rd to 5th Grade) class. Now, it will be back to leading the Adult class, beginning this coming Sunday. I hope to once again use the Ray Vanderlaan Faith Lessons video series in our class. By using that series and not spending as much time on lesson handout preparation (like we used last spring), the class preparation time should be drastically reduced each week. This will free up some time to watch some college football on Saturdays. Oh yeah!
Your prayers are appreciated as seminary term #2 gets underway. The Lord be with you, and remember always: Jesus loves you.
Blessings!
George
